MAR 2nd - 11th, 2007 - Daytona Beach, Florida - Attracting more than
500,000 bikers each year, Daytona Bike Week is the world's largest bike
rally. Whatever you may be looking for in a rally, you will
probably find it at Daytona Bike Week. Bike Week began in 1937
with the inaugural running of the Daytona 200. In 1942, Bike Week
was discontinued to World War II, although many bikers continued to
gather in an unofficial manner. In 1947, the event resumed and
have been growing ever since. In the mid-1980's Bike Week had
become so wild that the locals and law enforcement became concerned.
Following the 1986 event, a special task force was put together to
improve relations and the image of Bike Week. Today, Bike Week is
the world's largest bike rally bringing in hundreds of millions of
